2 Quick Ideas With Bella Bella

Two quick layout ideas before I sign off for my "weekend". Both of these feature papers and die cuts from My Mind's Eye's Bella Bella Collection as well as embellishments from Karen Foster, Tattered Angels, Kaisercraft & Nunn Designs.

This layout features papers from Bella Bella French Flea Market. I used Karen Foster Loopy Brad Lines to hang each element from, nothing is actually glued to the page. I also accented the red robin picture with Decorative Corner Brads from Karen Foster. Everything is inked with Distress Ink, Walnut Stain. I love the movement on this layout...everything swings from the Bazzill Floss used to tie it down.

This layout features papers from Bella Bella Bellezo. I cut two slits in the background paper to serve as a photo corner (lower right side of pink mat). I accent the paper with a Glimmer Glass flourish from Tattered Angels. I did nothing to it...just straight out of the package. The die cut collage in the lower left corner is accented by flowers from Kaisercraft and a mini star Detail from Nunn Designs. I lightly Glimmer Misted the round tag to match the pink in the paper with "Vintage Pink".

Spring Card Collection

Creativity is a funny, funny thing. I find myself going through moments where I don't feel even slightly inspired. Then, when you least expect it, creativity dawns and you just can't stop it.

That's how I felt yesterday. It was really slow at the shop and I was doing a lot of busy work. At the end of the day, literaly 6:45, I picked up the new magazine that arrived Card Trends and started to thumb through it.

Some paper caught my eye and I thought...I have that design...I could do that card. So I whipped one out, then another and then I went home. Enough of this...Dinner and Ugly Betty is calling. But I woke up at 3am with more ideas and dove in again when I arrived at the shop.

Here are the results....

So I hadn't planned on doing any spring card classes, but creativity has spoken. So here's the deal. Call me and make an appointment to come in and make any or all of these cards.

Each design is $10 each. You'll have enough supplies to make 3 cards of the same design. Please no subsitutions.

Anniversary Crop Weekend

We had a blast on our 3-day crop spectacular! Here are some glimpses!

Karen Foster donated some wonderful items for the goodies bags (about $25 worth) including these lovely cake boxes which were just perfect!

Here's a peak at the goodie bags, also featuring donations from My Mind's Eye & Kaisercraft!

Our make 'n' take featured the Photo Cube from Kaisercraft and papers & embellishments from My Mind's Eye's Penny Lane Collection. It was valued at $15 but included in the 3-day crop package!

After being here till midnight, it's a good thing Saturday brunch included coffee and jumbo cinnamon rolls!

And...we survived Sunday's wind storm without losing power which was nice. All in all, a very wonderful weekend and such a special way to celebrate the first year!

The Bestest Present Ever

This week I'm celebrating the Shop's ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY! Can you believe it? I hardly can. I got the best present ever this week - window decals with my logo! I couldn't be happier. I was positively giddy when they were installed and I think the installers thought I was a bit nutz, but I don't care!





The Anniversary cropper's just arrived. I'll post pictures of our party later!
