Thankfulness & Courage

Our lives are full of challenges and joys, heart aches and blessings. The line "Thankful" by Melissa Francis was inspired by her own journey with stage 3 Breast Cancer.

I met Melissa in August and was inspired by the way she overcame her trial with sheer grit, determination, and dare I say it, scrappyness. She handles life with a healthy dose of humor, is humbled by her experiences and has a deep appreciation for every moment, all the while not sweating the small stuff.



Our challenges are not always the same, but the courage, grace and thankfulness that we have as we go through them are our common bond.
