Summer Stuff @ Sonja's

Since it's threatening to be 90 by the end of this week I feel like I am perfectly justified in talking about summer stuff!

First of all, we're planning our first ever scrapbook summer camp for kids ages 7-12!!! I'm really excited about it. Our tentative dates are July 13-17 from 9am - 1pm which includes lunch. The campers will work on a week long scrapbook project plus other daily papercrafting projects. Campers will also receive a personalized acrylic album which is a $15 value.

Scrapbook camp is $300 for the week which is an incredible deal at $15 an hour. If you need afternoon care for your kids, an optional afternoon session will be offered from 1-5pm for an additional $250. This will include other craft activities, and excursions to the Promenades mini golf and movie theater!

Both Cathy & I will be teaching the camp and besides scrapping for years we both have master's degrees and years of education experience as well as having been fingerprinted and background checked by the state of CA, so you're kids will be in creative & SAFE hands!

I will have more details for you soon! If demand is high enough, we'll offer a 2nd week of scrapbook camp the following week!!!

But there is something for the kid in you as well. This is the 3rd year that the SHOP HOP has come to Southern California. This year's safari theme will have you on the hunt for your favorite scrapbook store in Southern California August 7th - 23rd.

There are 2 ways to participate:

1. Purchase the basic Shop Hop Passport for $5.00 ($7 after 8/7)

to receiver 15% off at all participating stores.

or...

2. Purchase the deluxe package with the passport, lanyard and collectible pin for $9.99 ($14.99 after June 12th) and receive 20% off at all the participating shops.

What will you do with your lanyard? Each shop will offer collectible pins to add to your collection. Shops will also offer make 'n' takes...this year's theme, a progressive mini album.
