Tuesday is FREE Cone day at Ben & Jerry's and there's one here at the Howard Hughes Promenade. So I'm staying open an extra 2 hours until 9pm in honor!




Ben & Jerry's will be collecting donations for a local firefighting fund, so spread the word, support your community, your sweet tooth & your favorite scrapbook spot!

The Yearbook Club

I know its a little late in the year to be making new year's resolutions, but here's one. Let's scrap our entire year, this year. Yes, it can be done. Here's what I'm thinking. Join me once a month for the Yearbook Club. Grab 6 or so photos from the last month and come with a couple supplies and come scrap it. Think of it as a structured crop. That's it. We'll do one layout each month. A year book with 24 pages. A simple scrapbook...

Basic Grey is here. And there are 5 lines, not 4. Counting is not my strong suit.

Honestly, they're just stinkin' cute, much better in person. I'm in love with the Archaic line & Sultry. Very bold, very beautiful.

Some of the coordinating embellishments are backordered but should ship at the end of April.

Also picked up some of the precision filing sets that I know I had a couple of requests for.

Classes this Week!

Our 1st Kaisercraft Project will be this week, Friday, April 18th, from 6-8pm. You can choose from one of two similar projects, the Little Miss Victorian Tag Album, or the Little Man Tag Album. The class is only $20 and includes all of the materials. Space is limited to sign up today!

And don't forget, Technique Tuesdays - free make 'n' take projects all day, every tuesday. Each project features Technique Tuesday stamps and another technique. This week's project features Glimmer Mist & Glimmer Screens as well as Rub-On Tape from Daisy D's.

Basic Grey Watch

I know many of you are eagerly antipating the Basic Grey shipment. I received my tracking # today. Its due on Monday, which of course is my day off. Bummer. So it will be here & ready for you on Tuesday.

I ordered an assortment from 4 collections. Boxer is full of lush hues. Sugared is a sophisticated pastel set. Archaic is a neat earthone collection with a dinosaur motif, but can easily work for non-kid pages. Sugared is a sweet collection with pinks, fushia, chocolate brown & lime green. Its gorgeous! In addition to papers, I ordered rub-ons, fibers, brads & alpha stickers to coordinate!

Also, Basic Grey has discontinued 3 lines:

Oh Baby, Boy; Oh Baby, Girl; & Romani

so I ordered multi-packs, so you won't miss out!

I spent hours on the internet searching for a company like this one. Each of these gorgeous, culturally inspired papers tells a different story from the people they represent. You'll find papers from Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, Latin America, & Native American Indian. These papers are perfect for travel pages or heritage albums!

"Sweet Baby Jane" and "Bambino" are some of the cutest baby papers around, but the best part is they aren't just for baby's. The Sweet Baby Jane line is very "shabby chic" and Bambino is great for birthdays and childhood. The collection includes Party Pad kits with supplies for making invitations and party favor boxes as well as 4 in 1 Stamp Kits with acrylic font stamps and a CD with the font style & digital layouts!

The Kaisercraft Lounge

Our big reveal was this weekend! The creative line and relaxing lounge is a crafter's oasis. Stop by, relax and be inspired (that's me with my feet up!). This line takes your creations "Beyond the Page" with a great line of project & home decor elements. We enjoyed some lovely fruit from Edible Arrangements, and congrats to our raffle winners Judy, Kenia and Rachel! Our first Kaisercraft Class will be Friday April 18th with more details TBA!

Name that Crop

Ok - Everyone, I need your creative juices to name our crops. Here's the idea. I need names for our Friday Night Crop and our All Day Crop. I'd like them to include "crop" and or "spot." Extra kudos for using both words.

Post your ideas on the comments section on the blog. If I choose your name, you'll get a free crop! So put those thinking caps on!

Also, there will be an optional crop after Tour De Crop on April 26th, for $10.
